The Topkapı Palace  or the Seraglio, is a large museum and library in the east of the Fatil district of Istanbul in Turkey. From the 1460s to the completion of Dolmabahçe Palace in 1856, it served as the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire, and was the main residence of its sultans.

Hagia Sophia (Turkish: Ayasofya) officially the Hagia Sophia Mosque (Turkish: Ayasofya-i Kebir Cami-i Şerifi), is a mosque and a major cultural and historical site in Istanbul, Turkey. The last of three church buildings to be successively erected on the site by the Eastern Roman Empire, it was completed in 537 AD. The site was an Eastern Orthodox church from 360 AD to 1204, when it was converted to a Catholic church following the Fourth Crusade. It was reclaimed in 1261 and remained Eastern Orthodox until the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople in 1453. It served as a mosque until 1935, when it became a museum. In 2020, the site once again became a mosque.

The motor ship Fenerbahçe is a ferry built in 1952, the same year as its sister ship Dolmabahçe, at the William Denny & Brothers shipyard at Dumbarton, Glasgow. The ship entered service on May 14, 1953, as part of the Turkish Maritime Line Navy. For many years the ship operated on the Sirkeci-Adalar-Yalova-Cınarcık line between Istanbul and the southern shore of the Sea of Marmara, making its last voyage on December 22, 2008. Since 2009, it has served as a museum ship open to the public and a venue for temporary exhibitions and some events.

Dolmabahçe Palace (Turkish: Dolmabahçe Sarayı, IPA: [doɫmabahˈtʃe saɾaˈjɯ]) located in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the European coast of the Bosporus strait, served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1887 and from 1909 to 1922 (Yıldız Palace was used in the interim period).

Konak Mosque (Turkish: Konak Camii), also called Yalı Mosque, is a mosque in İzmir, Turkey. The Galata Tower (Turkish: Galata Kulesi), officially the Galata Tower Museum (Turkish: Galata Kulesi Müzesi), is an old Genoese tower in the Galata part of the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey. Built as a watchtower at the highest point of the (lost) Walls of Galata, the tower is now an exhibition space and museum, and a symbol of Beyoğlu and Istanbul.

The current structure was built after the original building was damaged by fire during the siege of Mecca by Umayyads in 683.

Al-Masjid al-Aqsa is a mosque located on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. It is the third holiest shrine in Islam after the al-Haram Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina. Up to 5,000 worshippers can pray in the mosque at the same time.

The Dome of the Rock is a Muslim shrine over the Foundation Stone on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, one of the earliest monuments of Islamic architecture. It is one of the main shrines of Islam. The Sagrada Familia is a church in Barcelona's Eixample neighbourhood, under construction since 1882.
